History:
One of our greatest accomplishments is that our Mt. Carmel Woman’s Club was instrumental in building and supplying our beautiful town LIBRARY! We had fund raisers and worked hard to get this done.
We have recycled for years, and are still doing it. Much work has gone into this.
Recently we purchased a bench to be used by walkers and joggers on Oak Street.
Today our main fund raising project is selling little key chain Bibles containing over 5,000 pages which one can actually read.
In the past our projects have included an annual salad luncheon and selling candy.
